"Made In Maine" Monthly Movie Series

Bass Harbor Memorial Library will begin a "Made In Maine" Movie Series on Saturday, January 24 at 6:30pm with CIDER HOUSE RULES. Filmed in 1999, scenes from Cider House Rules were shot at Thurston's Wharf in Bernard. Michael Radcliffe will introduce the film with reminiscences of when Hollywood came to Bernard. 

Cider House Rules is the winner of 2 Academy Awards, including Best Supporting Actor (Michael Caine) and Best Screenplay adapted from a novel (John Irving). This movie is not suitable for children. Popcorn and beverages will be available.
