Short Story Series Begins Tuesday, Jan. 19th

Reading Specialist Anne Marie Vickers Quin will lead a bi-monthly short story group at the Bass Harbor Memorial Library starting on Tuesday, January 19th from 12:30-2:30 and running every other Tuesday through mid-March. Interested participants should register at the library (244-3798 or librarian@bassharborlibrary.com). 

The group will read and discuss literature from around the world by authors such as as Alexander Pushkin, Stefan Zweig, Chen Hsuanyu, Honoré Balzac, Edith Wharton, Samuel Clemens, and James Cain.

Ann Marie Vickers Quin works with students of all ages and reading levels to inspire the love of learning and to enrich the quality of life through the growth of deep thinking. She founded the Reading Consultancy of Maine in 1977 and has lived in Bar Harbor since 1989.
