The trustees and staff of the Bass Harbor Memorial Library will be hosting two Community Conversations to get input from the community about the services they would like to see provided by the library.
The public is invited to attend either or both sessions at the library on Wednesday, August 20, from 4:00-5:30 p.m. and Wednesday, September 17, from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Attendees are invited to discuss issues and opportunities for the Tremont community as it relates to the library. All opinions are welcome. Library users and non-users are encouraged to attend. Advance registration is not required. Snacks and beverages will be provided at both meetings.
The library plans to hold a third Community Conversation in October with Tremont School students to obtain opinions from younger members of our community.
The library is also conducting an online survey as an additional way to gather community perspectives. What would you like to see at your library? To take this survey, go to http://www.bassharborlibrary.com and click on Community Library Survey.
Community input is an important way to guide the library trustees and staff in planning for library services that meet community needs. For more information, questions or comments about Community Conversations, contact Clara Baker (firstname.lastname@example.org or 244-3798)
